Sounds like a load of fun but I don't drink nearly enough beer to make it
worth while to buy the stuff by the keg. How much DOES a keg of beer
cost anyway? I haven't bought a keg since high school. :)

I usually buy a variety of nice beers by the 6 pack, and try to stay in
the $1 a bottle price range. It looks like a 16 gallon keg will have
about 124 servings of 16 oz, I can't see paying anything more than
$60 or so to get a 16gal keg of good beer, when I can buy German,
Belgian, Dutch, Jamaican, or quality domestic beer at $1 a bottle
and keep a nice variety.

by the way, according to http://www.alabev.com/draught.htm

How long will a keg of beer last?

Real draft beer is not pasteurized. It must be kept refrigerated between
35F. and 40F. Above 44F. a beer will become wild, turn sour & cloudy in
a day or two. Below 44F. a keg of draft beer should last 20-30 days
before it loses its fresh brewery taste and aroma. Craft beers (micro brews)
tend to have a shorter shelf life and you should contact the brewery
for their recommendations.

So then why respond to a *.forsale posting? You're apparently not
interested in what he's selling
